Founder & Director
Forged in Wild Places
Dan Landrey was born in South Africa and raised across Mozambique and Zimbabwe, developing a deep, lifelong connection to Africa's wild places and a strong appreciation for wildlife and conservation.
Following several years of service as a Royal Marines Commando, Dan returned to Africa and transitioned into the conservation sector, going on to manage an anti-poaching unit in northern Mozambique. This role gave him direct, hands-on experience in leading ranger teams, conducting operations, and addressing the day-to-day challenges faced in the field.
Driven by a commitment to raising standards and making a meaningful contribution to conservation, Dan founded Denda Advisory Group to deliver training that is practical, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience.
